BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES

The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been active in Ghana in the context of international development cooperation for more than 30 years. GIZ has been commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to implement the German technical contribution of the Programme for Sustainable Economic Development (PSED) in Ghana. The programme comprises the four working areas of financial system development, vocational training, employment promotion for returnees and potential migrants and the Digital Transformation Center.
