Engagement of a Consultant for the Review of the Integration of HIV,TB, Malaria and other Core Health Services in Ghana
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
ENGAGEMENT OF A CONSULTANT FOR THE REVIEW OF THE INTEGRATION OF HIV, TB, MALARIA, AND OTHER CORE HEALTH SERVICES IN GHANA
AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Malaria Control (AGAMal) hereby invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to conduct a comprehensive review of the integration of HIV, TB, malaria and other core health services in Ghana, to identify key barriers and enablers to integrated health services and produce practical, prioritised, and specific actionable recommendations to support further integration of core health interventions in Ghana including cross-cutting health systems for the long-term sustainability of interventions and health systems.
Background and Rationale
Ghana has made significant progress in HIV, TB, and malaria service delivery through strong national programmes, with substantial support from the Global Fund. To improve patient reach, efficiency, continuity of care, and long-term sustainability, the Global Fund is seeking a review of how these services and related health systems are being integrated into existing service delivery platforms in Ghana. The review will assess progress made so far, identify which interventions have already been integrated and how this was achieved, and highlight services that still operate in vertical, siloed systems. It will also examine related systems.
Such as laboratories, sample transportation, supply chain, and data systems, as well as linkages with antenatal care, sexual and reproductive health, immunization, and surveillance. The findings will help the Global Fund and stakeholders develop evidence-based strategies to strengthen and scale up people-centred integrated health services in Ghana.
