REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

FOR THE DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF THE PURC

PRO-POOR WATER PROGRAMME

1. The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) intends to apply a portion of its Pro-poor water levy to select a consulting firm for the Design and Supervision of the Pro-Poor Water Programme.

2. The objective of the Programme is to identify the most appropriate service options for selected communities which are deprived of adequate water supply, provide access to safe and reliable water through the option identified and enhance public health.

3. The assignment, which is aimed at selecting a suitable consulting firm for the design and supervision of the programme, is expected to be carried out within twenty-four (24) months from the date of commencement.

4. The PURC hereby requests eligible consulting firms to express interest in providing the service.

5.  A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663), as amended and the Manuals- Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) of the Republic of Ghana.

6. Qualification Criteria
