BACKGROUND

The construction of Public Employment Centers (PECs) is part of the broader project to improve the operational effectiveness of the Labour Department within the Ghanaian Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations (MELR). The PECs aim to enhance service delivery related to employment promotion, migration, and reintegration advisory services.

This project is part of the EU-Germany Joint Action on Jobs, Migration, and Development in Ghana. The new PECs will support labour officers in raising local awareness, career guidance, job placement, training, and collaborating with private sector employers.
