Background on Pan-African e-Commerce Initiative

The Pan-Africa e-Commerce Initiative (PeCI) promotes the creation of an enabling environment for companies, especially SMEs, to engage in national and cross-border digital trade activities.

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GnbH implements this project on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda.
